For traditional drawing I currently use these for inking: Copic multiliners, Molotow basic blackliners, Staedtler pigment liners and Pilot drawing pens, usually in 0.05 or 0.1 thickness. But yes, I have had these kinds of days too, and sometimes it’s been very bad. Self-hatred and hatred towards one’s own creations is a terrible, mind-consuming thing. But art should be fun and enjoyable, not a struggle, at least not all the time.</p> <p>If I’ve felt that producing work has become a struggle, I’ve usually taken a break from it and focused on other things that make me happy, like baking and reading. Taking a break from art is completely alright if you’re not feeling up to it right now. Everyone needs a break sometimes.<span>I think it’s also important not to compare your work to other people’s, as everyone’s artistic talent is unique, and art shouldn’t be a contest. </span></p> <p><span>These are things that have made me feel happier about my own work and more confident in what I’m doing. I’m not certain if this was a very helpful answer, but I’m sure you’re a great artist, don’t be too hard on yourself.
